Introduction
This guide will help you if your computer will not turn on when unplugged or if you simply want to replace your old battery. Replacing the battery will fix any battery life issues caused by a faulty or corrupted battery. It is very straightforward and can be completed regardless of technical knowledge or skill.

With the power off, turn the laptop over.

The battery is located at the back of the laptop next to the screen hinges.

Move the locking tab on the right-hand side into the unlocked position by pushing it to the left. This tab will stay in the unlocked position.

Locate the spring loaded tab on the left-hand side and push to the right to unlock it.

Holding the tab in the unlocked position pull the battery out, away from the laptop.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
