What you need

Open the laptop and find the webcam located above the screen.

Use a prying tool to remove the front cover from the laptop.
Avoid using the metal spudger for this step. When used incorrectly, the metal spudger can damage the components in your device.

Using a Phillips #0 screwdriver, remove six 1.5 mm screws surrounding the screen.

Carefully detach the webcam using your fingers.
