Introduction
Perhaps you have come across a situation where your controller isn't functioning at all; from buttons and the joystick not responding to even the controller itself not turning on and not connecting to the platform. This guide will show you the steps required in order to disassemble a Gulikit Elves 2 Pro controller and be able to reach the motherboard for replacement.
What you need

Use your fingers or a pair of tweezers to grip and pop off the thumb caps from the front of the controller.

Flip the controller on its back.

Remove the six 11 mm screws from the back cover of the controller using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

Detach the two connectors from the vibrators and the connector from the battery using a pair of tweezers.

Remove the three 11 mm screws from the D-pad cover using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

Remove the seven 7.8 mm screws from the motherboard using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

Use a heat gun to soften the adhesive tape on battery.

Pry the battery out using a plastic pick.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
