Introduction
This guide shows you how to replace the colored buttons on the right-hand side of your Guilkit Elves 2 Pro controller. Make sure to power off the controller before beginning.
The procedure is difficult and requires a full disassembly of the controller to reach the buttons. The tool requirements are minimal, and the process is expected to take at most half an hour.
What you need

Use your fingers or a pair of tweezers to grip and pop off the thumb caps from the front of the controller.

Flip the controller on its back.

Remove the six 11 mm screws from the back cover of the controller using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

Detach the two connectors from the vibrators and the connector from the battery using a pair of tweezers.

Remove the three 11 mm screws from the D-pad cover using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

Remove the seven 7.8 mm screws from the motherboard using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

Use a heat gun to soften the adhesive tape on battery.

Pry the battery out using a plastic pick.

Remove the rubber cover for the buttons; tweezers are optional but recommended.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
