Introduction
Go to step 1 ↓Disconnecting the battery is an essential safety step before performing any repair on the Google Pixelbook Go.
This guide will show you how to safely remove the bottom cover and disconnect the battery cable to prevent accidental short circuits during repairs such as cleaning, SSD upgrades, or internal component replacement.
No prior repair experience is required. Follow each step carefully and avoid using excessive force on the connector.

Power off and unplug the device

Remove ten Torx T5 screws

Lift the bottom cover gently
Ask FixBot

Identify the green Torx T2 screw
-
Note the metal clasp securing the connector

Unscrew the green Torx T2 screw

Slide the clasp backward

Use a spudger to lift the cable gently

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
