    • First we need to remove the two feet.

    • (Optional, but recommended): Heatgun/hairdryer is to help loosen glue

    • Use your spudger (or a guitar pick) to remove. Lift carefully to not bend too much.

    • Place feet in safe location, they will be quite sticky!

    • Use a Philips head screwdriver to remove the two screws (size is not too important)

  2. Glorious Model O 2 Wireless Mouse Battery Replacement, Separate The Housing: step 2, image 1 of 3 Glorious Model O 2 Wireless Mouse Battery Replacement, Separate The Housing: step 2, image 2 of 3 Glorious Model O 2 Wireless Mouse Battery Replacement, Separate The Housing: step 2, image 3 of 3
    • Use your screwdriver to push the bottom plate away so you can get your spudger underneath.

    • Use spudger to unhook the 4 clips. Start with the sides and unclip the front last.

    • I've highlighted the location of the 4 clips in the 3rd picture

    • For the front clips be gentle and wiggle backwards until it comes free

    • Order here is unimportant

    • Remove the two ribbon cables from the back

    • (Optional): tweezers may be helpful, but I found these easy enough to remove with just my hands.

    • Disconnect the JST connection

    • And the ribbon cable on the side opposite the JST

    • First remove the screw (hidden by JST here)

    • Free the circuit board from the clip near the top

    • Carefully remove the battery. It is glued to the spongy material. This will rip

  5. Glorious Model O 2 Wireless Mouse Battery Replacement, Swap Battery: step 5, image 1 of 2 Glorious Model O 2 Wireless Mouse Battery Replacement, Swap Battery: step 5, image 2 of 2
    • Swap out the battery.

    • Optional: re-glue or tape to housing. I used electrical tape on the bottom, leaving the window open.

    • Reverse process for reassembly.

    • You're done! Happy gaming

    • (Note): I've included a picture of the assembled battery so you can see that there isn't much excess space lengthwise. If you want a bigger battery you can only go heightwise.

    • (Note): Assembled picture does not show optional resoldering. Check your fit, as I have done, before doing any soldering.

    • (Optional, resoldering): If you do not have the right JST connection don't fret! On the original battery cut the wires close to the battery and on the new battery cut close to the connector. Solder the two together. It is highly recommended to use shrink tubing to avoid short circuiting. Soldering steps not shown here.

Conclusion

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

Thanks for the guide! My battery life had been getting shorter and shorter, but now I have a fresh new battery. My mouse does feel noticeably heavier, but I'll get used to it!
