Introduction
This guide will show how to disassemble the LG Chocolate 3 flip-phone to its mother board using two tools and simple instruction. A disassembly may be needed to access internals on the phone which are hard to get to normally and without proper knowledge could lead to more damage. There is no prior knowledge or special skills needed to complete this guide. This project can be done in a few minutes and also provides a link to reassemble the device.

Push from indentation and slide battery cover away from phone to remove battery cover.

Using a philips screwdriver, unscrew all 4 screws along the edge of the phone

Using your plastic pry tool, insert the tool between the phone’s keypad cover and back cover and gently pry apart.
