Introduction

The RAM is a component that will act as a quick storage for your device. This guide will go over how to remove and replace the RAM for the P-6831FX.

What you need

Step 1 RAM

Turn your laptop upside down and remove the five Philips #0 (5mm) screws for the cover of the RAM.
Make sure to unplug your laptop charger, as removing the RAM while the device is charging may damage the RAM and or the charger.

Gently pull the cover away from the device.
Set the cover aside for now, until reassembly.

Pull the metal tabs and lift the first RAM stick out of the socket.

Repeat Step 3 to remove the second RAM stick.
