Before beginning to replace the battery, ensure that a 3.7 V nominal with a 1100 mAh capacity is required in order to properly fix the device. Also procure a 1 x Coin, flat head screwdriver, or pry tool and 1 x 2mm Hex Screwdriver.

Place the device screen side down with the back screws facing up towards the ceiling.
Remove the four T5 Torx screws on the rear case.

Insert an opening tool into the seam between the rear case and screen.
Pry around the perimeter.
Pull the rear case and screen apart, with care not to strain the attached ribbon cable.
Set the screen next to the rear case.

Use a T5 Torx screwdriver to remove the five screws securing the motherboard.

Be gentle when removing as these are more delicate parts of your device.
Use an opening tool to dislodge the speaker and battery.

Flip the motherboard upside down and use your fingernails to disconnect the battery connector.

Stick the new battery and speaker back onto the plastic.
Reconnect the speaker and battery.
