GameSir X2 Pro Rail Spring Replacement

Introduction

Go to step 1 ↓

This guide demonstrates how to replace the rail springs in your GameSir X2 Pro controller. Over time, the internal springs that provide tension to the expandable rails can wear out or lose their elasticity, leading to a loose or inconsistent fit when holding your device.

Replacing the rail springs can restore proper tension and improve the controller’s overall stability and feel.

Warning: This guide requires the use of a soldering iron. If you are new to soldering or would like a refresher, refer to the How to Solder and Desolder Connections guide before beginning.

Use caution when working with a soldering iron, as it becomes extremely hot and can easily cause burns or melt plastic components. To reduce exposure to soldering fumes, perform all soldering and desoldering work in a well-ventilated area.
