GameSir Cyclone 2 Battery Replacement

What you need

    • Flip the controller around so the back part is facing you.

    • Use a T6 Torx screwdriver to remove seven screws from the back of the controller.

    • One of the screws is hidden under the sticker. Use a pair of tweezers to lift the sticker and reveal the screw.

    • The two larger screws belong on the top two sockets of the controller

    • The remaining five sockets are located below, two on each side, and one in the center.

    • Face the controller towards you and lift up the front plate. It should pop out with minimal force.

    • The d-pad and action buttons will come loose, as well.

    • Pull both joystick covers straight up to remove them from the controller.

    • once the face plate is off locate the top bumpers

    • Use a Phillips #00 driver to remove two screws on either side of the power button.

    • Remove the assembly that includes the power button and the top bumper buttons.

    • remove the bumpers and replace with the new set you have aquired

    • Locate the two black boxes towards the bottom of the controller.

    • Remove these two boxes by pulling them away from the controller. They should snap right off.

    • Locate the LED diffusers on either side of the controller face. They are clear, cylindrical strips that help spread light from the LED under the black boxes you removed in the previous step.

    • Lift the upper ends of each LED diffuser and remove them.

    • Locate and remove the four screws that hold down the LED diffuser tracks.

    • Remove the LED diffuser tracks.

    • Remove the center screw to remove the motherboard

    • Disconnect the battery connector from the socket on the motherboard.

    • Remove the battery.

Conclusion

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order. Take your e-waste to an R2 or e-Stewards certified recycler.

Which battery is used there. I mean the specs so I can buy it.

Hi @daviribeiro, we don't have the specific battery details, but it uses a 860mAh rechargeable Lithium-ion battery.
