What you need

    • Carefully remove the four black screw covers from the sides of the chair arms (two per armrest) using a spudger or your fingers.

    • Use a 5 mm Allen key to remove the four 30.0 mm screws (two on each armrest) securing the back support.

    • Lift the back support straight up and away from the chair frame and set it aside.

    • Carefully flip the chair upside down onto a stable surface (a table or the floor works).

    • Use the 5 mm Allen key to remove the four 20.0 mm screws securing the tilt mechanism.

    • Remove the old seat from the chair.

    • Align the chair arms with the mounting holes on the new seat.

    • Insert the four 30 mm screws (two for each arm) and tighten them using the Allen key, turning clockwise.

    • Place the tilt mechanism onto the new seat.

    • Align the screw holes on the seat with the holes on the tilt mechanism.

    • Ensure the "FRONT" label on the mechanism faces the correct direction.

    • Insert the four 20.0 mm screws and tighten them using the Allen key by turning clockwise.

    • Flip the chair upright so it rests on its wheels.
