Go to step 1 ↓The GATEWAY NE56R09u laptop is a fast and reliable laptop that was manufactured and released in 2012. This laptop relies on a large battery inserted in the back of the laptop to properly function.
This guide will demonstrate how to properly remove and replace a GATEWAY NE56R09u battery.
Before you begin this repair, power off and unplug your laptop.

Using a nylon spudger or your fingers, push down on the orange battery clip to release the battery.

Ask FixBot
To insert the new battery, follow these instructions in reverse order. Take your e-waste to an R2 or e-Stewards certified recycler.
