Introduction
Furnace humidifiers are built in almost every household and their function is to help add moisture to the air to keep homes warm especially during the winter. If your furnace humidifier is not working optimally and producing enough warmth, this guide is helpful as there are times when you won’t be able to use an old evaporator pad optimally. Eventually, all the dust and particles can cause mold to grow on the evaporator pad. So, to find a solution to this, one would need to buy a new evaporator pad and replace the old one.

Turn off the humidifier. (Set the humidistat to 0% humidity)

Remove the nuts and clips holding the top cover of the cabinet assembly to the bottom cabinet housing.

Use an adjustable wrench to loosen the nut which holds the water distributor tube and swing the tube out of its secured place.

Remove the top of the bottom cabinet housing and take out the evaporator pad.
