Introduction
When a camera's batteries loose their charge, they either need to be replaced or recharged. Also, whenever you want to service the camera, it's a good practice to remove the batteries before going any further with your repairs.

Rotate the camera so that the label on the base of the camera is facing up.

On the battery compartment door, there is a slider that says "open". Slide it down and push the door to the right to release the door.
