Introduction
Go to step 1 ↓This is a replacement guide for a Frigidaire Garage Ready Top-Freezer (model number FFHT2022AW). This replacement guide includes a complete replacement of both the freezer door handle and any involved mount pieces.
A mount replacement is only necessary should it warp to the point of no longer connecting properly to the handle.
Both the mount and the screws that attach the handle to the freezer door use the same size Phillips head screwdriver head.

Remove the screws keeping the handle in place on the bottom face of the freezer door with a Phillips head screwdriver.

Tighten the handle mount at the top of the freezer in place if it is at all loose.

Unscrew the old mount by twisting counterclockwise with a Phillips head screwdriver.

Secure a replacement handle in place by locking the mount in the top of the handle.

Align the two screw holes at the bottom of the replacement handle with the screw holes of the freezer door.

Secure the handle in place with two screws using a Phillips head screwdriver.
