Pop the hood up by pulling the latch located down and left of the steering wheel.

Reach into the gap between the hood and the header panel to unlatch the hood.

Push the hood up

Place a peice of cardboard between the windshield and the hood as too not scratch the windshield

The hood should be off. Just lift it up and away from the car. Preferably with 2 people

To put the hood back on will not be as easy as taking it off. Gets the bolts hand tight and shimmy the hood around to get proper alignment. Test by trying to shut the hood. Repeat this process until it is aligned. Then tighten down bolts going Top Left, Top Right, Bottom Left, Bottom right. This is to make sure that It shifts less when you tighten the bolts.
