Pull off the old ear pad. It is normal for it to tear and for some of it to remain pinched in the headphones.
-
-
-
The black plastic cover is snapped in at 4 visible points. By prying with a screwdriver, they unclip with very slight force.
-
-
-
The old ear pad was also secured with glue. Remove the residue by scraping it off initially, then peeling the rest away in one piece.
-
-
-
Insert the first part of the cover into the ear pad.
-
Continue inserting it continuously around the entire circumference of the cover.
-
The trick is to pinch the ear pad located under the cover, then pull the ear pad to bring it over the cover while holding the parts of the ear pad that are already on the cover in place.
-
Once the cover is inserted, rotate it to align the snap fit with the notch.
-
-
-
-
Position the cover with the new ear pad on the headset by clipping the 4 visible points.
