Go to step 1 ↓In the wear and tear of daily use, the hems of jeans can often become frayed. Fortunately, with a simple repair method, it's easy to restore the hems of jeans and prolong their lifespan.

Assess the Damage

Assess your frayed jean hem.

Evaluate the extent of the damage.

Trim the Excess

Trim the excess frayed threads at your damaged hem.

Ensure the edge is clean and even.

Fold the Hem

Fold the raw edge of the hem under.

Ensure the length remains consistent with rest of the jeans.

Secure the End

Knot the thread by looping the last stitch around the needle.

Pull the thread firmly to secure.

Repeat step to reinforce.
