Introduction

This very simple guide will show you how to replace loose or worn knobs that control the volume, tone, and gain of the guitar amplifier. The steps shown in this guide are the same for each knob and none of them require any tools.

1. Step 1 Adjustment Knobs
  Firmly grasp the adjustment knob.

3. Step 2
  Carefully, pull the adjustment knob towards yourself until it comes off the screw underneath.
  
  Repeat for each knob until all are removed from the amplifier.

4. Step 3
  Observe the plastic knob piece and the screw that it came off of.
  
  Notice how the grooves on the inside of the plastic knob align with the grooves on the screw. Proper alignment of these two pieces will be important when reassembling.
  
  After the adjustment knobs are fixed, it's time to get groovy!
