Find the power cord.
Make sure that it is unplugged from the outlet. This is to make sure that no power is flowing through and you are not injured.
If the prongs are bent out of shape, take the pliers and slowly apply pressure so that the prongs bend back to their regular shape.
It doesn't have to be perfect. It just has to fit into the outlet.
Plug the power cord into the outlet and make sure that it's connected to the device.
