Introduction
Is the device not turning on when plug in? This guide will help you replace the power cord to fix the issue.
What you need

Use your fingers or a plastic opening tool to open the side hinges on both sides of the device.

Using a Philips head #2 screwdriver remove the 7mm black screw from the hinge of the device.

Using the metal spudger, push through the hole the screw was removed from. Doing this will push the copper pin out of the other side.

When the pin is removed the two sides of the device can now separate.

Use the Phillips Head 1 screwdriver to remove the two screws on the back where the power cable exits the device.

Once the two screws are removed; simply lift the case up and off to have access to the power cable.

To remove the power cable, grab the clear plastic holding and the base of the power cable and pull apart.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
