What you need

If the printer is out of ink (one or more cartridges), the ink light under the orange button will light up orange.

If it's low on ink, the light will blink.

Push the orange button to make the print head move. It will park the empty cartridge behind the plastic arrow to indicate it needs replacing.

Push the button again. If more than one cartridge is empty, the printer will indicate the next one.

When the printer has shown all the empty cartridges, push the orange button to move the print head to the cartridge changing bay.

Grab the empty cartridge by the front and back and squeeze it gently to release the latch.

Pull it out and then repeat for any other empty cartridges.

Peel off the labelled factory seal.

Push the cartridge down into its slot until it clicks.

Push the orange button to make the printer check the new cartridges.

When the ink light goes out, the printer is ready to work. Free the grey plastic latch to close it.

If the printer won't recognise a fresh cartridge, take out the cartridge and shake it again.
