Introduction

You will need a phillips head screw driver, needle nose pliers, solder, and a soldering iron to complete this task. Before opening the device, ensure that there is no power to avoid damaging the electronics or harming yourself.

What you need

Step 1 Frame

Disconnect any power source and/or turn off device.

Step 2

Remove the 15 rubber plugs from the cavities using needle nose pliers.

Use a phillips head screwdriver to remove the fifteen 6.4mm screws.

Carefully separate the two sections of the frame.
Wires still connect the two sections. Be cautious to avoid damaging the wires, terminals, and electronics.

Step 5 LED Display

Locate the terminals coming off of the backside of the LED lights. Cut the terminals to remove the light from the frame.

Step 6

Insert the new LED light into the frame. Use the solder and soldering iron to reconnect the terminals to the new lights.
