What you need

  1. EasySMX ESM-9100 Navigation Buttons Replacement, Bottom Case: step 1, image 1 of 1
    • Place the controller face down on a solid surface.

    • Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the seven 10 mm screws from the back cover.

    • The order does not matter.

    • Use the iFixit opening tool to pry off the back cover and remove it to reveal the internal components.

    • Place the cover off to the side, then grab the circuit board and gently remove it from the front cover.

    • Be careful when removing the back cover, the components in this controller are loosely attached and can fall out easily.

    • Pull the back button out of the front cover.

    • Keep the controller face down while doing this to prevent the other buttons from falling out.

    • Pull the start button out of the front cover.

    • Keep the controller face down while doing this to prevent the other buttons from falling out.

    • Pull the turbo button out from the front cover carefully.

    • Keep the controller face down while doing this to prevent the other buttons from falling out.
