Dyson DC56 Cyclone Replacement

What you need

    1. Dyson DC56 Cyclone Replacement, Dust Bin: step 1, image 1 of 1
      • Make sure the vacuum is unplugged.

      • Warning: Avoid pressing the red trigger because it will turn on and begin suction.

      • Locate the purple button at the top of the device.

      • Separate the device with the purple button.

      • Locate the dust bin's red release lever on the side of the device.

      • Make sure if the dust bin is full you open the vacuum over a trash can.

      • Push the red lever to release the dust bin lid.

      • Locate the red lever below the vacuum.

      • Push the red lever, pull the back up and away from the dust bin to separate them.

      • Use a T8-Torque screwdriver to remove the 18mm screw from the back of the Cyclone.

      • Remove the bottom of the cyclone screen by twisting it to the left and pulling down.

      • Remove the rest of the cyclone screen by pulling down.

      • Locate and take out the six 26mm screws with a T-8 Torque screwdriver.

      • Once you have removed the screws you can remove the rest of the Cyclone.

I can’t remove the cyclone screen. Any tricks to removing?
