Introduction
Go to step 1 ↓This guide will walk you through the steps to disassemble the PlayStation 4's DualShock 4, model CHU-ZCT2U. This might be necessary to replace anything from the internal rechargeable battery to the joysticks and anything in between.

All the screws are the same in the controller (Phillips's head).

Use a plastic spudger to open the case. Try not to scratch the plastic.

Be careful opening the case because there is a ribbon cable holding the 3 halves together.

The ribbon cable slots through the rectangular hole in the plastic beneath.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order. If there are any issues, please tell me as this is my first guide
