Introduction
Go to step 1 ↓This guide is to remove the base plate. This will allow you to access the rest of your saw and disassemble it properly.

Orient your saw so that the blade is pointing in the opposite direction of your body. Ensure that the screws circled are visible and pointing skyward. This will be the standard position of the Jigsaw for the duration of this guide.

With bottom of the base plate visible, identify one M4 screw circled in red and remove with Phillips screwdriver (some models have flathead screw, as pictured, and require flathead screwdriver).

After removing M4 screw, remove the base plate and place to the side. Don't forget to replace the M4 screw near the base plate during re-installation.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
