Disassembling Motorola E815 Antenna

Introduction

Reception issues or a broken antenna may mean the antenna needs to be replaced. In this guide, you are going to:

  • Access the antenna
  • Remove the antenna

NOTE: This guide shows the E815 partially dissembled. Disassembly is not required to access the antenna.

What you need

    • Locate the antenna port on the top of the phone.

    • Grip the plastic support post and unscrew the apparatus using a counterclockwise twist.

    • Pull the apparatus up and out of the phone.
