Introduction

if your laptop is overheating and you need to replace it. here are the steps that you should follow.

What you need

1. Step 1 Fan
  Remove ten 3mm screws from the back cover with a T5 screwdriver.

2. Step 2
  Remove the ribbons from both sides with a plastic iFixit opening tool.

4. Step 3
  Use a PH1 screwdriver to remove the two 3mm screws that secure the fan.

5. Step 4
  Use a plastic iFixit opening tool to remove the wire connected to the fan.
  
  Lift the fan up to remove.
