Introduction
The touchpad, also known as the trackpad, is used for moving the pointer on the laptop screen to move and select items on the laptop screen.
Use the guide of the battery as a prerequisites guide before using this guide. Taking out the battery is necessary to remove power from the laptop as well as revealing and providing the space needed for the touchpad to be accessed. The touchpad has three M2.2x6.3 screws on with three ribbon connectors secured by a small black locking lever.
Disconnect all external power sources prior to beginning this guide. Make sure to power off your laptop completely before proceeding with any steps involving the inner components of the laptop.
