Introduction

In this guide, we will be showing you how to remove the Solid-State Drive.

What you need

1. Step 1 Removing the Battery
  Turn the computer over.
  
  Slide the battery-bay release latch and the battery-lock latch towards the outer edges.
  
  Slide the battery out of the battery bay.
  
  Turn the computer top-side up, open the display, and press the power button to ground the system board.
  
  If this is all you are doing Follow Step In Reverse if not Go to Next Step.

1. Step 2 Remove the Screws
  Remove the two screws on the module cover.

3. Step 3 Lifting the Cover
  Lift the cover off the computer at an angle as shown in the figure.
  
  If this is all you are doing Follow Step In Reverse if not Go to Next Step.

1. Step 4 Remove Solid-State Drive
  Remove the two screws that secure the solid-state drive.
  
  Lift the solid-state drive out of its system board connector.
  
  If this is all you are doing Follow Step In Reverse if not Go to Next Step.
