In this guide, we will show you how to remove and replace the Hinge Cover.

What you need

1. Step 1 Unlocking the Battery
  Slide the left and the right battery release latches to the unlock position.

2. Step 2 Removing the Battery
  Slide the battery and remove it from the computer.

1. Step 3 Remove the Screws
  Remove the screws that secure the hinge cover.

2. Step 4 Press Down on the Hooks
  Press down on the hooks highlighted in the image.

3. Step 5 Removing the Hinge Cover
  Flip the computer around and remove the hinge cover from the side.
