Introduction

This guide shows how to replace NVMe expansion sticks on a Dell Precision 7560 laptop. You will need to pull gently.

What you need

1. Step 1 NVMe Solid-State Drive (Expansion)
  The screws holding the back cover in place can not be removed.
  
  Use a Phillips #0 screwdriver to loosen the eight 5 mm captive screws in the bottom cover.
  
  Remove the back cover by lifting at the corners.

3. Step 2
  Use the Phillips #0 screwdriver to unscrew and remove the two 2 mm screws that secure the expansion NVMe SSD sticks.

4. Step 3
  Disconnect the left SSD stick by pulling its exposed end towards you.
  
  Repeat the same procedure to the right SSD stick.
