1. Step 1 Remove the cover
  pull cover UP while holding in the 2 buttons on either side of the optiplex.

2. Step 2 Remove Cd drive Cables
  Pull Ribbon Cable Straight Back, and Out of Cd drive Using the Plastic Tab.

4. Step 3
  Pull Power Cable Out of Cd drive.
  
  All Cables Will Take A Bit Of Wiggling to Come Out.

5. Step 4 Remove Floppy Drive Cables
  Remove power cable from floppy drive.
