Step 1 Remove battery

Slide the battery release latches into the unlock position.
Remove the battery from the computer.

Remove the screws that secure the access panel.
Slide the access panel towards the front of the system and remove it from the computer.

Pry the retention clips away from the memory module until it pops up.
