1. Step 1 Remove hard drive screws.
  Shut down your computer. Disconnect all power sources before opening the computer cover or panels.
  
  Turn the computer over, and remove the hard drive screws.

3. Step 2 Slide out the old hard drive.
  Slide the hard drive out of the computer.

4. Step 3 Remove new hard drive out of package; slide new one into the bay.
  Remove the new drive from its packaging. Save the original packaging for storing or shipping the hard drive.
  
  Slide the hard drive into the bay until it is fully seated.
  
  Replace and tighten the screws.
