Introduction
As your Dell Latitude 7400 is used, components and parts such as the screen can degrade in performance. Things such as white spots, colorful lines crossing your screen, and even your whole screen not working can indicate damage or malfunction that warrant repair and replacement.
As such, this guide serves as a multi-step process to removing and ultimately repairing or replacing your display assembly as a whole; the guide covers two other part removal guides including battery replacement and wireless card replacement that are necessary prerequisite steps in order to than remove the screen assembly.
What you need

Lay the laptop on a flat hard surface facing downward.

Use a Phillips #0 screwdriver to remove the eight 3 mm screws that secure the lower case.

Lift the lower case off and set that aside.

Use a Phillips #0 screwdriver to remove the single screw (M2 × 3 mm) securing the wireless card.

Remove the wireless card bracket.

Use a Phillips #0 screwdriver to loosen the 3 mm screw securing the display connector bracket.

Remove the bracket.

Use tweezers to lift the connector pull tab and disconnect the display connector.

To reassemble your device, follow the above steps in reverse order.
Take your e-waste to an R2 or e-Stewards certified recycler.
