What you need

1. Step 1 Battery
  Make sure laptop is powered off before removing the battery.
  
  Slide both arrow tabs towards the outer edge of the computer to release the battery.
  
  Battery is not shown.

1. Step 2 CC/DVD Drive
  Using the Phillips #000 screwdriver, remove the 6 mm Phillips #000 screw holding in the back cover.
  
  Lift the back cover away from the computer and remove it.

3. Step 3
  Remove the 6 mm Phillips #000 screw using the Phillips #000 Screwdriver.

  Pull the CC/DVD drive from computer.
