What you need

Flip the laptop so the battery is facing upwards.

Push the battery release tabs toward the center of the device.

Remove the battery.

Remove the two countersunk keyboard screws using the Phillips #00 screwdriver.

Lift up the keyboard using your fingers or a plastic opening tool.

Disconnect the cable by sliding the connector ears outward.

After removing the keyboard, use the plastic opening tool or other form of leverage to remove the rest of the silver casing.

Use a plastic tool to carefully pry the silver portion front of the top away from the colored portion.

Using the Phillips #00 screwdriver, remove the two small screws at the bottom corners of the speaker assembly.

Slide out the cables connected to the speakers and the base below the keyboard.

Remove the speakers from the laptop.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
