Introduction
If your Dell Inspiron 7568 has a shorter battery life, only works when it is plugged in or isn't charging, then your battery may need to be replaced. The battery supplies power to the laptop.
By following the steps in this guide, you will be able to replace the battery.
Before starting, make sure to power off the device and unplug it from the outlet.

Remove the ten 7mm Phillips #1 screws on the bottom cover.

Remove the bottom cover.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order. Take your e-waste to an R2 or e-Stewards certified recycler.
For optimal performance, calibrate your newly installed battery after completing this guide.
