The laptop is powered by the battery. The battery may need to be replaced if the laptop will not turn on with the battery installed or if the battery will not charge.

    • To prevent injury, make sure the laptop is unplugged before removing the battery.

    • Flip the laptop over, bottom-side up.

    • At the same time, lift the battery away from the laptop.
