Introduction

In this guide, we will be showing you how to remove and replace the Hard Drive.

What you need

1. Step 1 Remove the Screws
  Follow the procedures in Before You Begin.
  
  Turn the computer over and remove the two hard drive screws.

2. Step 2 Sliding the Hard Drive
  Slide the hard drive out of the computer.

4. Step 3 Remove the Screws
  Remove the two screws (one from each side of the hard drive cover), then pull to separate the cover from the hard drive.

5. Step 4 Replace the Hard Drive Cover
  Replace the hard drive cover and tighten the two screws to secure the cover to the NEW hard drive.

6. Step 5 Sliding the Hard Drive
  NOTICE: Use firm and even pressure to slide the hard drive into place. Excessive force may result in damage to the connector.
  
  Slide the hard drive into the hard drive bay until the drive is fully seated.

7. Step 6 Replace the Screws
  Replace the two screws to secure the hard drive.
