Loosen the eight retaining screws on the base of the computer with a small Phillips screwdriver.

Remove the bottom cover from the laptop.

Ensure your Dell Alienware M11x R3 is turned off and disconnected from any power source. Close the lid and flip the laptop over to access the bottom panel.

Close the lid and flip the laptop over to access the bottom panel. Unscrew the two circled screws.

After removing the two screws, gently lift up the battery with the small plastic tab attached.

Lift the battery out of its casing while allowing the wire to remain attached.

With the wire unplugged, and all of the screws taken out, you are free to remove the battery for replacement.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order using a new battery in place of the old one.
