What you need

    • Remove the eleven 15 mm screws on the corners and back of the device casing using a Phillips #2 screwdriver.

    • If you're using the iFixit tool kit, you may need to utilize the 4 mm nut driver as an extension in order to reach the deep screws on the backside of the case.

    • Take the casing apart by pulling the rubber corners away from the body of the speaker.

    • Pull the top handle away from the body of the case once the corners are removed.

    • Remove or slice the DeWalt sticker on the left side of the device in.

    • Push out the two pins on the top of the device.

    • You may need to pry at the bottom of the device, if so, use an opening tool.

    • Unplug the connections running between the two sides of the case by pinching the tab on the non-speaker side and pulling away from the point of attachment.

    • Remove the eight 10 mm screws holding the drivers to the chassis with a Phillips #2 screwdriver.

    • If you are having trouble moving around the center tube, it can be removed by unscrewing the four 15 mm screws using the Phillips #2 screwdriver.

    • Remove the speakers from the device.

    • Take note of the pin marked as with the red square in the photo. You'll need to be sure the pin is aligned with the bracket on the speaker when it comes time to reinstall.
