Introduction
The DeWalt D26451 disc pad can experience several malfunctions. It may refuse to hold your sandpaper, it may be collecting unwanted debris, or it may just be worn out and in need of replacement.
In this repair guide, we will be teaching you how to replace the disc pad on the DeWalt D26451. You can order a replacement pad here.
What you need

Insert the 60 mm extension into the screw driver which has the t15 torx bit installed in order to make a t-handle grip.

Turn the screwdriver counter-clockwise to loosen all three screws in the disc pad.

Turn the disc pad over and remove the loosened screws.

When the screws are removed, the disc pad will come off of the sander.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
