Initial situation Remove the brewing unit from the machine as for cleaning by pressing the two red levers. The main problem is that the piston with the filter (orange) is very difficult to move. This can be recognized, for example, by the fact that the grounds do not fall into the container but in a different direction.

Use a spatula (metal spudger) to loosen the clamp (green) that is holding the piston.

The inner part marked in orange an be removed completely

Then the actual piston with the strainer and rubber seals can be pushed out on the other side

The piston (especially the rubber seals) can now be lubricated with a food-safe grease.

Then reassemble everything

The rest of the brewing unit can also be easily disassembled by loosening all screws

The piston is even easier to install if you loosen the two screws marked in green

To release the part with the two red latches or locks, there is a screw hidden under the coffee spout (orange

The scraper lever can also be easily removed and replaced. To do this, simply remove the screw on the axle.

When reassembling, one end of the spring underneath must be inserted back into the hole (yellow ring) and the other end must be inserted into the scraper before it is correctly guided back over the locking pin or stop pin (marked with a red circle).
