What you need

  1. Cuisinart CPT-140BK Top Cover Replacement, Top Cover: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Unplug the toaster before disassembly.

    • Flip the toaster over so the bottom is facing up.

    • Unscrew all 4mm screws in the base using Phillips #2 screwdriver.

    • Take off the lever knobs by pulling it away from the toaster.

    • Disconnect the cables that connects the toaster to the circuit board in both panels.
