Cowin E7 I/O Board Replacement

This guide details how to replace the I/O board in your Cowin E7 headphones.

What you need

  1. Cowin E7 I/O Board Replacement, I/O Board: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Remove the ear pad the with iFixit opening tool.

    • Unscrew the 6.5 mm screws around the speaker with a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

    • Lift up the speaker housing.

    • Use a Phillips #0 screwdriver to remove the two 6.5 mm screws that secure the I/O board.

    • Disconnect any connected cables then lift the I/O board up and out of the chassis.
