Introduction
Running out of memory can cause your laptop to slow down. It’s important to upgrade your RAM to optimize its performance. Upgrading your RAM is well worth it because it can prolong its lifespan.
What you need

Remove the battery by pushing the lock to the left and lifting the battery from its socket.

Once the battery is out, locate a panel that is underneath the battery compartment and unscrew the three 3mm screws with a Philips screwdriver.

Once removed, you should have something like in this picture. Locate the current RAM.

To remove the RAM, start by lifting up the first card. Grab each side of the card with two fingers as shown in the picture and pull gently until it is removed from its slot.

Insert your new RAM replacement into the slot where the old one was removed. Push until you hear a small click.

Push the card downward into the compartment until you hear another clicking sound.
